Hungry Ear

“The Hungry Ear,” celebrating the art of the short story, will honor the passing of two giants of American literature, Tom Wolfe, and Phillip Roth, at the June meeting. Wolf's satire on writing, Mauve Gloves & Madmen, Clutter & Vine, will be read by John Carey. Bill Gorman will read Phillip Roth's, The Contest for Aaron Gold, which is set in a Jewish boys' summer camp. Judy McMahon and The Hungry Ear Readers have been giving dramatic readings since 2007.
