Hungry Ear

"The Hungry Ear," the Library program celebrating the art of the short story, loads up with four stories covering the Civil War, WWII, and Vietnam. Chris Nickerson will read A Short Wait Between Trains, by Robert McLaughlin, and Little Beaver by Charles Durden. David Cleutz steps up to tell Brassard, Mourning, Official by Miller Harris, and If Grant Had Been Drinking at Appomattox, by James Thurber. These stories bring the listener to situations that soldiers have endured through the ages. Judy McMahon hosts. For further information call the library at 607-778-6451.
