Basic Computer Class Starts October 9th @ 10:30

The Broome County Public Library will host a series of basic computer classes beginning Monday, October 9. The classes will be taught by students from Binghamton University, and they will cover the basics of computers, Microsoft Windows, and using the internet. Class sessions will be held for seven weeks on Mondays at 10:30 am. Registration is required; for more information, or to register, please call the Information Desk at 607-778-6451. ​

Local History Closed on September 22nd

Local History will reopen on Monday September 25th.

Hungry Ear Monday September 25th @ 5:30

The Hungry Ear, the Library program celebrating the art of the short story, brings two disparate stories together in September. “'Sweetness,” by Toni Morrison, will be read by Qiana Watson. Timothy Bridgman carries us to Brittany as he explores its’ language and folklore in story and song. Judy McMahon hosts these dramatic readings. They are “a cocktail hour for the mind.” Come and be transported! For further information call the Library at 607-778-6451.
