Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program sign-ups and events begin on June 27, 2016.

We have lots of fun programs planned for families and kids of all ages! Families completing their Summer Reading Logs by August 20 will receive B-Mets tickets and free books for each member of the family, and these families will also be entered into a drawing for a Barnes & Noble Nook!

Our flyer gives an overview of the Summer Reading Program, including all the details of our programs. For the Summer Reading Program flyer (in PDF format), click here.

If you'd like to download and print out the Summer Reading Log and start working on it from home, please email

Youth Services Department staff is very grateful to the Friends of the Library for providing the funding that makes the Summer Reading Program so successful.  Without their support, our programs would not be possible, and we appreciate all of the hard work that they do.

We are also grateful to the Binghamton Mets for providing us with tickets for those Summer Reading Program participants who completed their reading logs.  We really appreciate having a partnership with such a great community organization.
