Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program sign-ups begin on June 18, 2018 and events begin on June 25, 2018!

We have lots of fun programs planned for families and kids of all ages! Families completing their Summer Reading Playlists by August 11 will receive free books, a ticket to the August 21 Binghamton Rumble Ponies game for each child, and these families will also be entered into a drawing for some special prizes! The more you read and do on the Summer Playlist, the more chances to win prizes!

Our flyer gives an overview of the Summer Reading Program, including all the details of our programs. For the Summer Reading Program flyer (in PDF format), click here.

Youth Services Department staff is very grateful to the Friends of the Library for providing the funding that makes the Summer Reading Program so successful.  Without their support, our programs would not be possible, and we appreciate all of the hard work that they do.

We are also grateful to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies for providing us with tickets for those Summer Reading Program participants who complete their summer reading playlist.  We greatly appreciate having a partnership with such a wonderful community organization.
