Collage Class August 31st @ 5:30


Learn how fun and easy it is to make a collage using old magazines and books. The library will provide magazines and books but each student will need to bring a canvas to class. Canvases can be purchased at local craft stores. This is a three-week course. Registration required, please contact Sherry Kowalski at 778-6451 or

Hungry Ear August 28th @ 5:30

The Hungry Ear, the Library program celebrating the art of the short story, presents two tales in August. “'The Coming Out of Maggie,” by O. Henry, will be read by Laurie Brearley. “The Man Who Forgot Ray Bradbury,” by Neil Gaiman, will be told by Bernie Sheredy. Judy McMahon hosts these dramatic readings. They are “a cocktail hour for the mind.” Come and be transported! For further information call the Library at 607-778-6451.

2017 Family Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program sign-ups begin on June 19, 2017 and events begin on June 26, 2017!

We have lots of fun programs planned for families and kids of all ages! Families completing their Summer Reading Logs by August 19 will receive free books for each member of the family and a ticket to the August 21 Binghamton Rumble Ponies game for each child, and these families will also be entered into a drawing for some special prizes!
